Calltracking.com sold for $120,000 to top the Domain Name Journal chart of top reported sales for the week ending 29 July, an increase of close to 6 times what the seller bought it for 14 months ago.
In May 2017, DNJ reports, Peter Askew bought the domain name for $21,000 but the developed website didn’t meet his expectations.It was put up for sale again and call tracking company CallRail.com came to the party and bought it for $120,000.
Coming in second was a sale for the Australian ccTLD, .au, with cpa.com.au selling for A$50,000 ($37,000) through Drop.com.au while TajMahal.com came in third selling for $29,999 through NameJet.
On the TLD side of things there were 15 .com sales on the chart and one each for .com.au, .ch, .asia, .co.uk and .de. For the aftermarket outlets, Sedo and NameJet tied with 8 sales each.
