Broadband penetration pushes growth finds World Bank

Several leading Consultancy firms have produced studies that show a clear connection between the broadband dissemination and growth in GDP.The World Bank has found that in low- and middle-income countries every 10 percentage point increase in broadband penetration accelerates economic growth by 1.38 percentage points — more than in high-income countries and more than for other telecommunications services.To read this report in full from Broadband Europe, see: download the report and read the Executive Summary, see:
