Children under 11 will be taught to use podcasts and the internet at school under Government plans announced today.A major review of the primary curriculum in England recommends that computing skills usually taught at secondary school should transfer to the youngest pupils. The report, by Sir Jim Rose, former director of inspections at Ofsted, says ICT (information and communication technology) should be given as much prominence in the early years as literacy and numeracy.
