Verisign have released the top 10 English keywords in .com and .net domain names for October with âblockchainâ featuring in both lists, including the top of the .net list. Also featuring second on the .com list was âblockâ.
With Christmas coming, the term featured in the .com list while âcannabisâ came in top.
As Verisign note, there is a correlation between domain name registrations and newsworthy and popular events, as well as anticipated trends.
