The first Baltic Domain Days is to be held in the Latvia capital of Riga from 19 to 20 April. The 2-day event appears to be closely modelled on the Domain Pulse conference, the conference for the German-speaking country registries â DENIC, SWITCH and nic.at.
The main topics to be covered include GDPR, domain name take-down, domain name trends, cybercrime and should registries and registrars be responsible for online content. The conference will be held in the regal premises of the House of the Blackheads – one of the most magnificent buildings in Riga, preserving both the unique historic heritage of the legendary Brotherhood of Blackheads, and the history of Riga.
The Baltic Domain Days conference is organised by NIC.LV in close collaboration with ICANN and the .LT and .EE registries. Participation in the conference is free of charge. Pre-registration is mandatory! Registration will be open until 12 April 2018 and all sessions will be held in English!
