Australia is vulnerable to cyber attack: McAfee boss

The global president of one of the world’s biggest technology security firms, ­McAfee, has warned Australia’s cyber security laws are lagging behind other developed nations, as it became increasingly likely a major cyber warfare attack would hit within two years.Speaking to The Australian Financial Review during a brief visit to Australia McAfee president Mike DeCesare said countries including Australia had so far been lucky that hostile nations and organisations had largely used cyber attacks for financial purposes.
