auDA Panel releases draft recommendations for public consultation

auDA’s 2007 Names Policy Panel is currently reviewing the policy framework for .au domain names, including: whether .au should be opened up to direct registrations (eg. domainname.au) and whether the policy rules for domain names should be changed; whether registrants should be allowed to sell their .au domain names.

  • whether registrants should be allowed to sell their .au domain names.

The Panel has released its Draft Recommendations for public consultation. To comment on the draft recommendations you’ll need to submit a submission, but first you’ll probably want to read the draft recommendations and see a bit more about the consultation process. And the Panel is due to provide its final recommendations to the auDA Board in November.
