In a quiet week on the domain name sales week, at least when it comes to notable sales, artdeco.com topped the weekly Domain Name Journal sales chart, selling for $75,000 through Sedo, in the week to 24 June.
The second-biggest sale of the week was diabete.com, which sold for â¬16,900 ($21,125), also through Sedo. And to emphasise the quiet week, the 10th biggest sale of the week was involved in a three-way tie (for eighth place) selling for â¬10,000 ($12,500).
But the quiet week saw Sedo return to somewhere near its normal self, accounting for 12 of the top 20 sales, while AfternicDLS and DomainNameSales were both involved in three sales each.
There were 16 .COM sales in the top 20, two .IT sales and one each for .SE and .TV.
