For the second week running a two-letter domain name has topped Domain Name Journalâs list of top reported sales in a six-figure sale in the week to 6 June.
Last week it was FO.COM, selling for $245,000. This week it is BJ.COM, selling for an even nicer $325,000 through Toby Clements Newsletter. And again, it was many times bigger than the second-biggest sale, that of BusinessReviews.com for $58,000 through Go Daddy Auctions.
Go Daddy Auctions had a bumper week, and for the first time in a long time, someone knocked Sedo out of number one position in the top reported sales list, accounting for 12 of the top 20 sales.
.COM accounted for 16 of the top 20 sales, with one each sale for .TV, .ORG, .ME and .IT TLDs.
