16 French gTLD applicants have selected the .FR registry, Afnic, to provide registry services for their top level domain, if approved, the company has announced.
While they have not named any of their clients or the gTLDs, Afnic say these applications are from local public authorities, companies and associations and if successful, will contribute to the evolution of the internet in France.
