David started working in the domain name industry in 2000. Then in 2006 founder and then CEO of Australasian domain name registrar instra, Tony Lentino, had the idea to create a blog focussed on the domain name industry called Domain Pulse. The blog continued on after Tony sold instra to CentralNic in 2015.

Working as the principal writer initially, and later solely, David wrote for the Domain Pulse blog until March 2020.

From April 2020, David has merged highlights of global internet policy news from around the globe with his take on the domain name industry, providing news and updates on the domain name industry.
