
The summer hiatus for domain name sales is still underway and for the sixth week in a row there were no domain name sales topping the six-figure mark! In the week ending 8 September the top reported domain name sale was growingpower.org, which sold for $45,999 through SnapNames according to Domain Name Journal.
Coming in second was dynamicinsight.com which sold for $28,500 through DomainMarket while enjoytravel.com, which sold for $25,300 just pipped veggie.com ($25,000), both sold through Uniregistry.
On the aftermarket side of things there were 8 sales through Uniregistry, 6 through NameJet including one in the NameJet/ROTD NamesCon Europe Auction and unusually low 4 sales through Sedo in the top 21 (there was a tie for 20th place).
On the top-level domain side of things there were 18 .com sales, two for .org and one for .net.
