The 5th Annual Asia-Pacific IP Forum will be held in Hong Kong this November with topics including targeting counterfeiters online and developing a domain name strategy.
This is the fifth year the IP Forum will be held in Hong Kong and is one of the key events dealing with intellectual property in the region.
The conference venue is the Kowloon Shangri-La in Hong Kong and the dates are 4 and 5 November 2008. Registration is free of charge for in-house counsel and corporate executives, while private practice delegation registration costs US$950.
On day one a sessions will be “Tackle online counterfeit sellers” that will look at online infringements, tracking down criminals behind websites selling counterfeits and dealing with repeat offenders.
Day two includes a session on “How to protect your brands online” and looks at surviving the coming explosion in TLDs, protecting your domains from cybersquatters and domain tasting and dealing with keyword advertising.
