As the reporting of 2011âs top reported sales draws to a close, there was a half million dollar sale to top the weekly Domain Name Journal sales chart in the week to 18 December. 3d.com also became the equal ninth top reported sale for the year in a sale through Sedo.
Second top sale for the week was another six-figure sale with 45.com selling for $280,000 through eName/Moniker Escrow, easily eclipsing third place, marketanalysis.com, which sold for $60,000 in another Sedo sale.
Overall Sedo was responsible for ten of the top 21 sales â there was a six way tie for 16th place. AfternicDLS was responsible for seven sales.
There were 17 .COM sales, three ccTLD sales including news.co ($50,000) and one .NET sale.
