The giant killer in domain name sales for the week ending 12 March was 37.com, selling for CNY12,000,000 ($1,960,800) in a private sale, easily besting the weekâs second biggest sale, ddos.com, which sold for $100,000 in another private sale.
And the third biggest reported sale for the week in the Domain Name Journal chart was cancerdiet.com, which sold for $50,000 through MostWantedDomains.
Overall there were 17 .com sales on the top 20 chart while there was one each for .co.uk, .co and .net.
On the aftermarket side of things, Go Daddy/Afternic dominated in a way that Sedo usually did a year or two ago with 13 sales while there were three for MostWantedDomains and three private sales.
