11.com became the sixth biggest sale so far in 2011, selling for $525,000 through MediaOptions, to top the Domain Name Journal list of top reported sales in the week to 23 October.
The sale easily dwarfed the next biggest sale, that of whistlestop.com, which sold for $45,250 through Moniker/SnapNames followed by cocomo.com ($33,000 through Sedo).
The week was a particularly good one for GoDaddyAuctions, which sold nine of the top 22 (there was a three-way tie for 20th spot) domains, while Sedo only managed to account for eight of the sales.
However .COM dominated sales with 20 of the 22, while there was one each for .ORG and .NET.
