[AAP] A web monitoring service says internet users world-wide sent a total of 107 trillion emails last year and most of them were spam.Pingdom says said that as of June 2010 .. there were 1.97 billion internet users and an average of 294 billion email messages were sent per day .. but about 89 per cent of them were spam.

That’s nothing: Internet users collectively sent 107 trillion (yes, that’s with a “t”) messages in 2010.Granted, a large percentage of those messages were spam, but that’s still a lot of e-mail.
