Poll Finds Widespread Use of Social Media by Teens

A new poll on teenagers' use of social media and technology shows even they get annoyed when their friends ignore them to text someone else and more than 40 percent wish they could unplug sometimes.
The survey from the children's media research group Common Sense Media found, unsurprisingly, that 90 percent of teens aged 13 to 17 who are online already have also used some type of social media service such as Facebook and 75 percent say they have a profile on a social networking site.
