500 Australian firms get government aid to ward off cyber foe

Almost 500 companies, including banks and finance firms, are receiving federal government assistance to counter the increase in state-sponsored cyber attacks on service and infrastructure providers.
The companies have been included on the systems of national interest list, meaning they receive assistance from the Computer Emergency Response Team, or "CERT Australia".
