Telstra now up to speed with 4G mobile phone network

Australia's only fourth-generation mobile phone network opens for business for calls today.
While Telstra's 4G LTE (long-term evolution) network has been up and running since September last year and accessible with a 4G modem, the release today of HTC's Velocity 4G Android smartphone means consumers can now use the network to speak and surf on the move.
