Telstra first Australian telco off the blocks with a 4G mobile broadband service

Telstra has launched the nation's first commercial 4G mobile broadband services as the telco giant continues to juggle the tricky balance between customer growth and network performance.

Going on sale today, the 4G services will boost typical download speeds on mobile devices to between 2Mbps and 40Mbps and uploads speeds will increase to between 1Mbps and 10Mbps.
